Blake's Post #3
For this week we met up and filmed two interviews. Everyone in the group minus Julian were there to set up the lighting which turned out helping so much.I felt that Russ' interview went really well. The lighting seemed to be very nice and he was stoked at the footage and quality after the interview was done. The mics seemed to pic up the sound well and all of the equipment ran just fine. We shot a total of two interviews. The first being a women in Operation Hope named Faith. I do not think her audio turned out too well though because of her voice due to the lack of teeth she has making it hard for her to speak clearly. Overall i felt like today was a huge success. Basically our project is going to be showing the public what Operation Hope is doing for the homeless in their community. O.H. is there to help the families and kids find a home and place they belong. I think that our main problem is that we cannot shoot very much footage of the actual residents in Operation Hope. Many of them do not want to be on film or are simply not there most of the day. I think our group has figured out the way around this is plainly going to be more interviews and intimate shots of success stories and current employees within Operation Hope. Overall i feel we are making great progress and are working in the right direction for what our client wants us to produce.
